Job Opportunity: Business Manager, Benin

We are looking for a results-oriented and culturally astute Business Manager to establish and grow our presence in Benin and the wider West African market. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of sales, marketing, and international trade, and will serve as the crucial link between our headquarters in China and our operations in Benin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of the West African market, with a focus on Benin, to identify new business opportunities for our range of products. Develop and implement a comprehensive market entry and growth strategy.

  • Sales and Negotiation: Drive the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and closing of deals. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, and achieve ambitious sales targets.

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners in Benin. Utilize CRM tools to manage and track client interactions.

  • Operations and Logistics: Oversee local operations, including the potential setup of assembly or manufacturing facilities. Liaise with freight forwarders and customs agents to ensure the smooth import of goods, and manage local logistics and supply chain.

  • Team Leadership: As the business grows, recruit, train, and manage a local team, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance.

Qualifications:
